I haven't done a favorites post in ages... And I have some exciting news!
I'm going to be talking about some really awesome products today, but first I wanted to share some good news. I've decided to post every day in April (hopefully it'll go better than Blogmas *cringe*), and I'll also be sharing some of my favorite bloggers in every single post. :) If you'd like to nominate your blog, make sure to leave a link below this post! Now on to the favorites...
I've been reaching for some new items as well as some tried and true favorites. I have everything from hair stuff to skincare and makeup, so I'm sure you'll find something you might want to try. Let's see!
Catrice Prime & Frine Primer
I just recently received this primer for review and I'm already in love! Catrice really is one of the best drugstore brands you can get here in Slovenia. This primer doesn't feel silicone-y, it's smooth and pleasant and gives a lovely soft focus finish to the skin. I love using it under my foundation. On the thicker side of primers, but doesn't make me get oily throughout the day! I think it costs from 4-6€.Sephora Mineral Powder
I bought this on a whim in Paris, but I really adore it. A finely milled mineral powder that gives a lovely, natural finish to the skin. You can even use it by itself, it gives a lot of coverage. I believe I paid around 14€ for it.Garnier Micellar Solution
An old favorite. Such a bargain, because you can get 400 ml for just 5€. I love it, it doesn't irritate my eyes and doesn't have a scent. Really pleasant to use and takes all my makeup off. I've repurchased it three times already. A firm favorite, and way better than Bioderma in my honest opinion!Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray
I've almost run out of this amazing product, and when I actually do, I will cry for days. Gives amazing volume and beautiful texture to hair, but spray it from a distance (at first I sprayed it from close up and it doesn't work well that way, it just glues my hair together). I think it costs around 6 pounds in Boots, and if you (unlike me) can get your hands on it easily, don't hesitate!the Balm Nude 'Tude
Recently bought this palette on Destination Pretty and I just adore it. It has three of the prettiest eyeshadows for a natural, neutral, barely-there look. I've been using it every day. You can find it here for 40€. Shadows are well pigmented, small amount of fallout, great shades. The brush it comes with is useless, though. :PBourjois Healthy Mix Serum
I don't know what's happening to me, but I'm apparently getting paler and paler. This foundation, which used to be way too light for me, is now too dark! But I still adore it - it's so pleasant on the skin, feels like a moisturizer, gives a nice natural-yet-porcelain-like finish, and doesn't cause me to break out. Available here for 14,5€.Fake RT brushes
Yep, totally fake. Get them on Ebay for $8. I need another set for pictures, haha! I love the blush brush the most, along with the strange triangular gold brush, which I find is PERFECT for highlighting! Seriously, these are amazing quality for that price (I'd pay more). You need them!Essence The Velvets Eyeshadow
As you know, I don't really wear eyeshadow, but this one really is good! I love the texture, and I'm planning on buying more shades. But it isn't a favorite just because of that - I just adore this peachy pink shade, it looks surprisingly good on my eyes. I think it's only about 2-3€.Essence Lip Gloss
I honestly don't know the name/shade of this, because the sticker rubbed off, but they're available for about 2-3€ now. I don't like lip gloss, and this is really sticky, but... it just works! Such a pretty nude pink shade, makes my lips glossy and plump. I've been wearing it a lot even though I don't love the formula, so it deserved a place in my favorites.China Glaze What A Pansy
For me, this is the shade of the season! A gorgeous cornflower blue that I've been wearing like crazy. Gorgeous shade, opaque with one coat, the finish is really shiny and it doesn't chip that easily. I'm in love... I paid around 4€, but it depends where you get it from!Essence Superfine Waterproof Eyeliner Pen
Essence liquid liners will forever be my favorites! They're incredibly inexpensive (3-4€), great color payoff, very black, don't budge and barely fade (though the waterproof weirdly fades more than the regular version). The tip is great as well and really precise. Always a winner in my book!ASTOR Soft Sensation Lipcolor Butter Matte 027 Elegant Nude
OMG. This is probably my favorite lip product of all time! So pleasant to wear yet completely matte, a stunning brown/pink nude shade, no shimmer, inexpensive... I will be buying more from this line. It's a crayon and super easy to apply, and you need it. No excuses. I really can't remember the price, I think it was about 10€!Whew, you can tell it's been a while since I did my favorites, I had a LOT to talk about! But let's not forget my favorite blogger for the day - today that is Monika from Sugarlove Blog. I had the pleasure of meeting this lovely girl and chatting to her at an event, and I remembered her blog being absolutely stunning. After coming home, I probably spent an hour browsing her posts and being head over heels in love over her photos. But not only is her blog stunning, Monika is one of the nicest people I've met in the blogging world. Such a genuine sweetheart, and a real blogging talent! Love her :)
I hope this post was helpful and I'll see you tomorrow with a new post lovelies! <3
What was your favorite product of March?

Super objava, xx
ReplyDeleteJoj, imam tak love hate odnos z njim. Grozna formula, nosim ga pa skos. :P
DeleteI also picked up those fake RT brushes and I was pretty darn impressed! I know what you mean about the triangular one - it was what I was most unsure about tbh haha but it's turned so multi-functional, it's pretty great for setting concealer too ^_^
ReplyDeleteIqra | The Blushing Giraffe x
