6 Fall/Winter Berry Lip Picks

Sunday, November 16, 2014

I'm jumping on the bandwagon and doing a berry lips post - it was high time, since I'm really in love with this particular shade. While checking my makeup collection, I found so many products to include, plus the perfect Shakespeare quote to include & I just love these photos. Let's see which products I chose ...

For the shy girl ...
Pick Korres Lip Butter in Wild Rose. It's light, feels like nothing on the lips and moisturizes as well. The color looks really intense but is actually perfectly subtle and you can easily wear it during the day, or as an evening colour in case it's a statement for you. Price is around 10€, you can get it on FeelUnique.

For the lipgloss lover ...
If you have a hard time getting on with lipsticks, look no further than the new Revlon Moisture Stains. I love this one in the shade 005 Parisian Passion, available on Click2Chic.si for around 11€. The colour is not as opaque, but instead a beautiful dark berry that feels moisturizing on the lips.

For the goth girl ...
Look no further than Models Own Blackcurrant. This is a lipstick even I am hesitant to wear, but if you want a straight up purple-black, it's the one for you. It's incredibly opaque and creamy, plus it lasts ages. Not sure where you can get it - Models Own stores, probably?

For the fashionista ...
Try Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Crush. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous plummy berry colour that feels moisturizing and looks semi-matte. This is from the first collection of these stains, not the Lacquer/Mattes and I love the finish. Available on Click2Chic.si for around 11€.

For the daring girl ...
How about Models Own Lipstix in Purple Pleasure? This is definitely one for the brave girls, as it's a pure pumped up purple, no hints of pink or red. It's gorgeous, but takes some courage to wear! Available on Click2Chic.si for a bargainous 6€.

For the classic lover ...
Two words - MAC Rebel. It's an all around winner, popular around the globe and one you cannot miss the mark with. Gorgeous, long lasting, a little bit drying, but so, so worth it. Available at your local MAC counter, prices may vary (I paid around 18€).

There you have it my lovely girls - one for everyone! I hope you love this post as much as I loved writing & preparing it.

  2. I have the same shade of Revlon Moisture Stain as well but I think it's a bit too glossy for me. I wanna try out the MAC's one though!

  10. I got the Korres lip butter, Mac Rebel and Revlon Crush. Absolutely love both of them! Crush is nice because it can be applied light, and it makes it perfect for a more relaxed everyday lip.

I'm all about vampy/darker lips recently, even preparing a post about it, haha. Fall mood all over the place!

  11. Rebel is my go-to dark lip for this fall/winter season, I love that it doesn't run off completely but instead it leaves my lips with a little stain which is handy if you're out sipping drinks :)

  12. Lovely post!

You've convinced me to wear my berrylipstick! I bought it a couple of weeks ago in an impulse, and now I've been to much of a coward to wear it. But maybe I should give it a try! And maybe I should buy the MAC lipstick as well, it seems like a nice colour.

    Thanks for the advice :)
